The Chairman of DAAR Communications, home of Africa Independent Television, Raymond Dokpesi, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Dokpesi was picked up in Abuja by operatives of the anti-graft agency on Tuesday afternoon.
His arrest is believed to be in connection with the ongoing probe into the procurement of arms and ammunition for the Nigerian Armed Forces during the last administration.
Former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki is at the center of the arms purchase scandal, where N2.1 billion was allegedly diverted.
