The Senate, upon its resumption from its 6 weeks break, has passed a vote of confidence on Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
The vote of confidence was passed on Saraki, who is facing a 13-count charge of false assets declaration and corruption at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
Senator David Umaru from Niger State moved the motion to pass the vote of confidence and it was seconded by Senator Sani Ahmad Yerima.
