Alex Folzi label re-brands, postpones release of collaboration with Ojo Evelyn

There’s been some buzz in the last few weeks, by fans of Alex Folzi wondering why certain links are not working on the site, and more importantly, why they can’t make a purchase. The creative directors and founders, Fela and Fola Fagbure have decided it is time to make some changes to fit their new vision for the company, which consequently lead to having to put a hold on online orders.

“We are re-branding the company to become a classic leather goods and accessories brand. With the heavy competition for designing clothes in North America, we have decided it was time to remove Alex Folzi from this market”.

With this change also comes a transformation of Alex Folzi corporate identity. This means that there will be a new logo, new fonts, new pages on the website, and a restructuring of company’s goals and mission.

However, not to fear – the briefcases and trunks, the most popular selling items, are not going anywhere. The company will continue to sell them, with new colours and designs to be released before the end of the year.

In addition to the changes, the collaboration with Ojo Evelyn has also been postponed until further notice due to production problems.

The t-shirts, which were to be sold during the early summer months, came back from the factory with many problems. Alex Folzi prides itself on its commitment to quality, making it unsuitable to sell the shirts at this time.

The company asks the public for their patience and understanding over the next few weeks as the re-branding process is brought to a close. The company’s social media accounts will continue to update the public on this process.
