APC postpones NEC, National Caucus meetings

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed the meetings of its National Caucus and the National Executive Committee (NEC) scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.The party announced this in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, on Thursday in Abuja.

On January 25, 2017, the National Chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun constituted a 10-member committee to review the party’s Constitution.

At its last NEC meeting, the party agreed to review its constitution in order to address some issues, especially on discipline and membership.

The committee was expected to review the constitution ahead of the party’s non-elective National Convention expected to hold in April.
