Arms deal: Dasuki trial adjourned to October 19, as presiding Judge goes on vacation

The trial of a former National Security Adviser (NSA), retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki has been adjourned to October 19, Daily Trust reports.

Dasuki is facing trial over alleged possession of illegal arms and money laundering.

Dasuki arrived the premises of the Federal High Court, Abuja at about 10.45 am.
He was accompanied by his lawyer, Ahmed Raji (SAN) as three security operatives followed at a distance.
Both men headed for the court room where his trial was due to continue. They were however disappointed as the court was not in session as the presiding judge, Justice Adeniyi Ademola was yet to resume from the annual vacation.
Dasuki was arraigned un August 2015 on a five count charge of illegal possession of firearms and money laundering.
