Bobbi Kristina, who is in coma, gets sued over car accident

Well a lot of people are looking to take advantage of Bobbi Kristina in case she doesn’t actually come out of her comatose state.

Although it was reported that she had been taken off life support and is spending what could be her last days at a hospice, a Georgia man is seeking more than $730,000 damages against her.

Russell Eckerman claims that he was severely injured in a car crash caused by Bobbi Kristina, just three days before she was found unconscious in a bathtub in January.

According to him, Bobbi Kristina was speeding and tailgating a car before she lost control of her vehicle and collided into his Ford Taurus on January 27.

Witness Osse Lessage told reporters at the time that Bobbi Kristina jumped out of her car and raced to Eckerman to find out his condition.

“She was running and screaming, ‘Oh my gosh,’” Lessage said at the time. “My brother-in-law was there (saying) ‘calm down, calm down.’”

He claims to have suffered multiple spinal, skull and facial fractures and had to undergo extensive surgeries following the accident, according to legal papers obtained by CBS News.

The papers also stated that Eckerman had to be placed in a medically-induced coma.

Eckerman is also suing the Ford Motor Company, claiming his airbag did not deploy properly and his seatbelt was defective.

The suit was filed against Bobbi Kristina through her guardians, specifically father Bobby Brown as well as her aunt Pat and her conservator Bedelia Hardgrove.
