The Lagos chapter of the All Progressive Congress, has described a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olabode George, as a failed politician.
The party says Bode George is in denial about his place in Nigerian politics, adding that nobody takes him serious anymore.
The attack on George by the APC was in response to his call to President Muhammadu Buhari to probe former governors of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Babatunde Fashola.
APC State Publicity Secretary, Joe Igbokwe, released a statement to this effect on Thursday, August 20.
“Why is Bode George finding it difficult to believe that the game is over for him in Nigerian politics talk less of Lagos State?
“Who will tell Bode George that nobody takes him serious again in matters of Nigerian politics? Who will persuade Chief George to quit politics now in his own interest?
“Did he know that the President has full knowledge of his dubious activities in Lagos during the campaigns?
“Chief Bode George spoke about the cost of projects in Lagos, but the question is this: what does a hut builder know about Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge? What does this carpenter know about gold?” What does this failed politician know about good governance and service delivery?.”
