The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh who has been in incarceration since January 15, has been released.
On Tuesday, January 26, Metuh’s legal counsel had applied for a variation of bail conditions before Justice Okon Obong at a Federal High Court in Abuja following the defendant’s inability to meet the initial bail term ruled on by the court.
The court had granted Metuh’s request and reviewed the conditions for his bail which appears to have been met by the PDP stalwart as he has been released from Kuje prison.
