President Buhari has appointed Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita as the new Head of Service of the Federation.
The immediate past HOS, Danladi Kifasi was asked to go on terminal leave on Tuesday, October 20.
The new Head of Service, Oyo-Ita, is from the South South state of Cross River.
Prior to her appointment, she was the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Science and Technology.
Kifasi, who was due to retire on January 1, 2016, is expected to hand over to Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita today.
She is expected to serve as HOS in an acting capacity.
