The Confederation of African Football has included two Nigerian players, Vincent Enyeama and Ahmed Musa in the list of 25 persons for the 2014 African footballer of the year.
Reigning Africa’s best player Yaya Toure of Cote d’Ivoire, Togolese, Emmanuel Adebayor, and Ghanaian, Asamoah Gyan, also made the list.
The performances of the nominees for their national teams and clubs from January to November 2014 were taken into cognizance by CAF in their selection.
The Head Coaches of the National Associations affiliated to CAF will vote to decide on the eventual winners of the two categories.
The winner will be announced at the Glo-Caf Awards Gala on 8 January 2015 in Lagos, Nigeria.
