Nigeria’s finest; the Super Eagles, yesterday triumphed over the Flames of Malawi in Calabar a 2 – 0 victory match witnessed by hundreds of eager Nigerian fans who came out en masse to support the team in their quest for victory. With this win, the Eagles move into the final round of the 2014 World cup qualifier stage.

In popular fashion, Guinness, Nigeria’s number one premium beer was on hand to support the team with their $2,000 per goal offer to ensure the team was gingered to win in the match, which became evident in the 2 – 0 margin.

At the end of the match, a cheque of $2,000 each was presented to Victor Moses and Emmanuel Emenike in fulfillment of the Guinness promise. Guinness also ensured that Nigerians nationwide were not left out in the action as they sponsored the broadcast of the match live on AIT network. Fans in Calabar also had a fantastic time at the game as Guinness ensured an endless supply of free drinks to keep everyone motivated and ensure the Eagles had the support they needed to triumph.
