The anti-social medial bill drama continues.
Senator Dino Melaye who made his stand known in the Senate on Thursday, December 3 has employed social media to address issues rebounding off the reading of the bill against abusive use of the social media.
On his Twitter page, Bukola Saraki’s leading proponent, Melaye attempts to explain why he’s in support of the bill amidst backlash from bemused and angry Nigerians who feel betrayed by the senate’s dangerous romance with the matter.
It is amazing how hilarious people can be. I said stop publishing lies, shikena! For fear of insult and blackmail Nigerians will keep mute.

I will always speak my mind even with a gun on my head. My motion is not part of Na’allah’s bill. Premium Times and Cable is a good example

We will not allow Social Media to be used as an instrument of blackmail and medium to cast aspersion on people’s integrity without course.

And then he dropped a tweet for Professor Banwo, who was on Channels Television this morning, to discuss the legality and illegality of the anti-social media bill.
For Channels program this morning. I was called 11pm last night to appear on Channels 7:30am. Common I deserve some respect.
