Earlier today, a Federal High Court in Jos nullified the election of Amaju Pinnick as the President of the Nigeria Football Federation giving the contender, Chris Giwa the order to replace him.
In spite of the ruling, Pinnick and the NFF board have filed an appeal alongside a stay of execution according to Premium times.
Giwa reportedly stormed the NFF Secretariat in Abuja to takeover from the present administration.
Many have blamed the ignominious outing of the Super Eagles at the AFCON 2017 qualifiers on this crisis rocking the country’s football governing body.
