Veteran Nollywood actress, Shan George and Soundcity staff at loggerheads

Veteran Nigerian actress, Shan George who these days manages the career of her musician son, Jaga on Monday, has hit out at Andrew Ameh ‘Dro’ Ujah, a producer at the popular Nigerian music channel, Soundcity TV.

Shan George accused Ameh of failing to play her son’s video, after collecting a sum off N100,000 from her.

The fair-complexioned actress posted a bank receipt on Instagram, to back up the claim that she paid indeed paid Dro the said amount.

However, the Soundcity staff in question, Andrew Ameh ‘Dro’ Ujah, who is the head of Soundcity TV’s new media division, has admitted to collecting the money but said the payment wasn’t for playing her son’s video.

He said the money was for online distribution and promotion of Jaga’s video while adding that he tried to return the money but the actress refused to collect the money back.
