Mercy Aigbe’s husband is out of a prison with a message for the government

Lanre Gentry was remanded in KiriKiri prison last week after making an appearance in a Lagos court for charges relating to domestic abuse and battery.

The hotelier who was accused of assault by his wife, Mercy Aigbe was released on bail after fulfilling his bail conditions.

Gentry took to Instagram to reveal his experience in the prison and most of what he has to say is directed towards the Nigerian government. He asserts that the government’s involvement in “trivial” issues like domestic violence is a misplaced priority.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez may be getting married

Although the couple are yet to officially confirm that they have such plans, inside sources claim J.Lo and her new boyfriend, baseball player Alex Rodriguez may walk down the aisle soon.

Creator and Executive Producer, Shonda Rhimes made it official in a speech, “Deciding when to finish is quite simple when the end date is years away. But actually going through with it?  Actually standing up to say: ‘This is it?’ Not so much. So, next year we are going all out. Leaving nothing on the table. Creating this world in celebration. We are going to handle the end the way we like to handle the important things in our ‘Scandal’ family: all together, white hats on, gladiators running full speed over a cliff.”
