An explosion has occurred in Bauchi State a few minutes ago. We can confirm that an improvised explosive device (IED) has exploded in the busy Bayan Garin area of Bauchi township.

Residents heard explosons which reportedly occured near People’s Club Hotel. The hotel has a popular football viewing centre where several people were reportedly watching a football match.
