Justice Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court has tendered his letter of voluntary retirement from the bench.

Ademola was due for his statutory retirement in March 2018.

The letter was received at the Office of the Acting Chief Judge of the Federal High Court in Abuja, on December 7.

It said his resignation took effect from the 6th of December.

Justice Ademola was one of the judges tried after men of the Department of State Security raided the homes of judges.
