Imoh Umoren, one of the finest minds you haven’t heard about in Nigerian film and television, is finally ready for his close up.
Taking a break from head-scratchingly attacking the #BringBackOurGirls protesters, he reminds us of why exactly those who know respect his brilliance.
Just look at the trailer. What he does with the camera, the music underlying the mood, and the striking performances we can already see from Matilda Obaseki who is otherwise known for over-acting. And we like seeing Liz Benson (we still can’t get ourselves to call her Aneyo) restrained in roles, very much.
This is a must watch. We are waiting for the release date.
What a year for Nollywood.
