Incumbent president John Mahama has assured Ghanaians that he would respect the outcome of the elections.
Mahama, who made the disclosure on Friday via his Twitter account also said people should allow the Ghana Electoral Commission to carry out its duties.
He tweeted, “Let’s allow EC to carry out its constitutional mandate. We’ll make Ghana proud no matter outcome.”
Reports online say opposition candidate Nana Akufo-Addo is cruising to victory.
