The Nigerian chapter of the Humanistic Management Network is part of an international, interdisciplinary, and independent network that promotes the development of an economic system with respect for human dignity and well-being.
It defends human dignity in face of its vulnerability. The Nigerian chapter is based primarily at the Christopher Kolade Centre for Research in Leadership and Ethics (CRLE), Lagos Business School.
The purpose of the Knowledge Café is to bring together professionals within industries, researchers and individuals together in order to create a forum for conversation on different topical issues.
Some of these issues include aesthetic labour-sensitivity and level of awareness in Nigeria.
However, in order to give everyone background knowledge on what HMN (Nigeria) is about, the Knowledge Café which is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 10th December, 2015 at 12noon will focus on providing everyone with this background knowledge.
The purpose of the upcoming knowledge café is: to deepen and enrich members’ understanding of the Network; share information about activities, conceive a draft strategic plan for the Nigerian chapter; and network with one another.
