Seems like 2012 is the cross over year for our music artistes.

The duo of Peter and Paul Okoye have notched up another distinction by getting superstar Akon to appear in their forthcoming ‘Chop My Money’ video.

Peter Okoye confirmed the news via his Twitter handle on Friday. He wrote, ”On set shooting the video ”Chop my money” wit @Akon, @MisterMayD @rudeboypsquare@JUDEENGEES. Watch out!!!”

The song ‘Chop my money’ appears on their fifth album, ‘The Invasion’ which dropped to tepid reviews, read our critic’s review here, . However the song was pointed out as one of the high points on the album.

On a recent visit to Lagos, Akon was reported to have signed the twins alongside 2face and Wizkid as ‘representatives’ of his Konvict music label. There has also been talk of a possible collaboration with R&B star, Usher being midwifed by Akon.
