First daughter, Ivanka Trump arrived at the Capitol Tuesday morning to discuss paid family leave for mothers and fathers with Sen. Marco Rubio, Deb Fischer and others, but things got quite an awkward before they got down to business.

The Senator went in for a hug from Ivanka and by looks, of this photo, Ivanka wasn’t sure why and she was not down for it.

Rubio responded to the assumption that Trump ignored his intended embrace in a series of tweets;

Just left Intel comm & informed meeting 2day with @IvankaTrump blowing up twitter over alleged failed hug! Investigating. Will respond soon
