Macron risks mutiny from within

Amidst several criticisms of President Emmanuel Macron’s policies, going from labour laws to tax policies, the President now risks a greater threat to his administration as in house supporters are casting their doubts over the young President’s antics.

A staunch supporter of the regime, Philippe Cattuzato, has criticised the President as trying to rush through his reform agendas.

Mr Cattuzato who campaigned strongly for Macron during the electioneering campaign said this while speaking on BBC’s News night, slammed the President for not taking his time with key reforms.

He said, “What I have against this government and the national assembly is that they are confusing speed and haste, we could have taken the time to prepare the grounds for reforms in a calmer way, Instead of rushing them through in the summer.”

Cattuzato stressed further by saying the French President was making similar mistakes to those made in the past.

“This season is never good for that” – he added
