This week, we took a thorough look at the most reported events across the world and we decided that our list of winners and losers is going to be lopsided. Here’s how:
LOSERS
Nigeria’s 360 House of Reps members
Not for actually purchasing Peugeot 508 cars worth N3.6bn but for justifying this wasteful spending with the flimsiest of excuses, especially at a time when many Nigerians are crushed by the harsh economic situation. “Members are expected to work harder during the recession and are not expected to trek to MDAs for oversight function“. Y’all can trek to hell, at this point.
Everyone who witnessed the lynching of that 7-year-old

The faces are hardly recognizable, we see the feet, we can’t tell who these ones are or where they come from but shame on you for standing to watch this inhumane act and doing nothing to prevent it (we assume). To the photographer, we hope you find peace when you lay to sleep at night.
Kanye “rant” West
For admitting that you would have voted Donald Trump at the presidential election held recently in the United States, we hail thee loser. This admittance is a betrayal to the black race, to the male folk, to hip hop and rap music and ultimately, to his friendship with Jay Z. It’s no news that Jay Z and wife, Beyonce passionately campaigned for Hillary Clinton and were a strong force during the campaign period. As expected, his comments have caught heavy flak across social media.
Atiku Abubakar’s cryptic political campaign
We see through everything and we blatantly refuse to be fooled. He shaded his former partner, Olusegun Obasanjo, he slighted President Buhari’s fight against terrorism, washed himself off corruption and attempted but failed at the simplest dab!
Meanwhile, we searched and found one…
WINNER
Before this pyramid takes the literal fall
Everyone who has studied the dynamics of the Ponzi scheme and who can put their thoughts together in a decent write-up has shared their projections for the future of MMM. Sadly, Nigerians are waist deep in it and now, the leaders of the MMM community have made their biggest move in winning more of us over. A N5million donation to IDP camps to mark its first year anniversary is thoughtful and very effective.
Say what you will, MMM wins (for now).
