Shootings have been reported in the Okota area of Lagos state.
Series of gunshots rent the air moments before candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Akinwunmi Ambode, was formally declared winner of Lagos state governorship election.
As at when this report was filed, it could not be immediately ascertained the reason behind the protracted heavy shootings nor could the casualty toll be determined.
