King of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, may have just shot himself in the foot, Akinwunmi Ambode in the head, as far as Lagos is concerned.
Well, on Saturday, we’ll know better.
From the audio recording, the monarch can be heard threatening the Igbos gathered at his presence.
Here are 7 things we learnt from it:
1. Oba Akiolu thinks he’s still in the police force.
2. Oba Akiolu is seriously scared that Igbos will vote against his anointed one, Akinwunmi Ambode.
3.Apparently, Oba Akiolu did really pick Ambode, in spite of past denials.
4. The Oba of Lagos is very arrogant and stubborn… even Asiwaju and the governor cannot disobey him.
5. Even though Jimi Agbaje is his close relation, the Oba believes he’ll never be governor… for now.
6. It is now debatable who wields more influence in Lagos, between Oba Rilwan Akiolu and Bola Tinubu.
7. Oba Akiolu called ‘Allah’ not less than 3 times in the audio recording.
