Former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) government to fulfill all campaign promises made to Nigerians during the campaigns.
Obasanjo disclosed this on Tuesday when he visited Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom at a dinner organised for him by Governor Ortom at the new Banquet Hall of the Benue Peoples’ House, Makurdi.
He explained that his visit to Benue State was motivated by the development works of Ortom administration geared towards ensuring industrialization of the state.
Obasanjo further urged the people of the state to support Ortom to deliver good governance and enjoined farmers in the state and country to unite in order to provide food security, jobs and wealth for the nation’s growth.
He said he strongly has confidence in the ability of Ortom to deliver selfless service to the state.
Obasanjo also told Ortom to uphold the core values of the blueprint of his administration.
“I believe that Governor Ortom is sincere. He wants practical development and I urge you people to constantly remind him of his promises and but support him to succeed,” he stated.
