America are up there watching and fuelling the burning fire through whom we do not know. Don’t be surprised to see the extent this political crisis would degenerate to…
A reminder to Nigerians: Let us all refresh our memories to a release by the United State of America two years ago that “by 2015 there would be no Nigeria again”.
This is just the beginning of the prophesy coming to pass.
Is it worth investing in a business that you are sure will eventually collapse even though it appears buoyant Initially, that is the case of America and Nigeria. Few years ago, when Obama came to Africa he sidelined Nigeria (the acclaimed giant of Africa for other countries), few weeks back again Obama was in Africa but never deemed it fit to pay homage to the continent’s giant. President Jonathan being a mere fluky president never knew this is a signal from America telling him that there prophesy will never go unaccomplished.
In response to Obama’s action, our aggrieved president wrathfully packed his entire political portfolio (ministers) and the mere Appendage of Power (Dame) in the presidential jet and left for China for investment dialogue: A medium he indirectly directed towards America telling them that without the US Nigeria has alternatives e.g. the second most prosperous country in the world and the giant of Asia.
Nigerians are waiting for the outcome of the MOU signed.
Is it in this political dismay the country is battling with that one progress minded investor will bring their asset and wealth to perish?
Some months ago, former president Olusegun Obasanjo threw President Jonathan off balance when he disclosed his intention to make Governor Sule Lamido and Rotimi Amaechi his presidential candidates for 2015 election. This became a threat the president could not stand and the result is the Jonathan-Amaechi quagmire Nigeria witnesses today and the recent indictment of Governor Lamido’s son carting away with huge sum of money abroad. All these to tarnish their (Lamido and Amaechi) images before the next coming election.
America are up there watching and fuelling the burning fire through whom we do not know. Don’t be surprised to see the extent this political crisis would degenerate to, and before we know it, the whole issue will escalate beyond the confinement of the embattled and confused president and revolution will gradually start to the extent that America would have to come to our rescue and stylishly Nigeria will go through second colonisation in the hands of America keeping in mind that America is interested in our oil.
In summary, the current political crisis in Nigeria is being fuelled by America and will result to second colonisation of Nigeria and America will graciously take over the oil we so much believe in.
Fingers crossed.

You are right dear.,Nigerian way of politiking is unfair even the opposition party has nothing to offer.
Your view of the system,is so shallow. You leave the fact, looking for files,RONG! For your information,Nigeria will not degenerate in 2015(America’s jokes). The fact is,we have a problem of bad leadership coupled with Corruption. That’s the facts we should face, not America preditions.
Your kangaroo court assesment of the political landscape exposed the naivety of those seeking DIS-INTEGRATION OF NIGERIA. Our NATION IS GREATER THAN ANY PERSON OR GROUP..RIVERS STATE CRISIS IS SELF INFLICTED. THE GOV..SHOULD SORT IT. THE PRESIDENT IS INNOCENT AND ON WITH HIS REFORM PROG.
Bross! You’re SLEEping. Wake UP jo!
That nigeria is sinking, its obvious ! That america is fuelling it,a big lie. That the land is filled with hate, its true ! We can’t live together ? No soothsayer need say.
I expected something more intellectual owing to the caption of this piece. Y not leave the US govt alone and let’s concentrate on the TUNAMIS and TORNADOs that are @ the helm of leadership right from the top, and even to the grassroot in Nigeria. We need creative leaders who are not ready to die in governance bcos most of them cannot even run a company successfully after expiration of dir tenures. Nigerians need serious re-orientation on diverse issues cos of what corruption and loss of hope has dealt on the masses and economy. God bless Nigeria.
Apparently you didn’t hear Obama say we’ve got shale oil and the technology to extract we are aggressively pursuing green technology very soon you will drink your oil.
The writer is very funny. What do you mean ‘pay homage to the continent’s giant’? What makes Nigeria a giant? Its level of corruption and ineptitude of its leaders and shameless acts and laws, I’d say. Pay homage keh? I’d have felt better about this article if you had chosen other terms. Sad but, Nigeria has become a place even its citizens don’t really want to be in so, let’s sort out our house first before we expect neighbours to come pay visits. When the entire neighbourhood knows your house is rat and roach infested, strewn with dirty laundry and wrought with violence and bloodshed, do you really think anybody will want to come visiting?
