Nigeria’s Super Falcons began their campaign at the African Women Championship on a high as they best Mali 6-0.
Striker Asisat Oshoala was the star of the game as she scored four times.
The match which held at the Stade de Limbe in Cameroon, saw the Nigerian female national team open the scoring in the 27th minute through Francisca Ordega.
Arsenal forward Oshoala made it two in the 40th minute, as Uchechi Sunday made it there from the penalty spot in the 47th minute.
Oshoala made it four in the 63rd minute. She scored her hat trick in the 68th minute.
She rounded off a beautiful display for the Falcons in the 77th minute as she scored her fourth and Nigeria’s sixth to secure an emphatic opening victory.
