Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday held a closed door meeting with Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara and some other principal officers.
The meeting was held inside Osinbajo’s official residence, Aguda House, inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
It reportedly started at 10pm after Dogara led other principal officers to the Presidential villa.
The meeting was believed to be part of efforts aimed at resolving the row between the National Assembly and the Executive.
The House of Representatives had on Tuesday asked Osinbajo to inaugurate the two ministers-designate that were screened by the Senate within 7 days.
The Acting President had told State House correspondents on Wednesday that he had no date in mind for the inauguration.
The Senate and the executive have also disagreed over the appointment of Ibrahim Magu as EFCC Chairman.
