PHOTOS: When GEJ paid a visit to Pastor Oritsejafor’s church in Delta

President Goodluck Jonathan was a guest at the 26th Jubilee World Festival of the Word of Life Bible Church, Warri, Delta state and birthday of church’s General Overseer Ayo Oritsejafor, which held yesterday, November 10, 2013.

On the Boko Haram victims’ compensation issue, the stance of Pastor Oritsejafor was however different from the views of President Jonathan. The cleric who is also the president of the Christian Association of Nigeria said that the federal government  a compensation committee should be set up for victims of Boko Haram violence so as to enable them put their lives back together.

President Jonathan did not agree with the cleric’s  point saying that the federal government would assist the victims not pay compensation. However, he said a committee would be set up for the proposed assistance.

Also attending the Jubilee and birthday celebration which took place at the church auditorium in Ajamimogah, Warri, were governors Emmanuel Uduaghan, Liyel Imoke, and Jonathan Jang , representatives of Bayelsa and Benue governors.
