President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived New York, United States of America where he would participate at the 71st General Assembly of the United Nations.

Buhari departed Nigeria on Sunday for New York.

He would deliver a keynote address on “Taking Climate Action Towards Sustainable Development in Nigeria and the Lake Chad Basin.”

He was accompanied by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state and Governor Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara state.

Dr Kayode Fayemi, and Mrs Amina Mohammed and other top government officials also accompanied the president on the trip.
