There’s been so much brouhaha about the 82 released Chibok Girls. Starting with the PDP faction’s pathetic statement in response to the prisoner swap that led to the release of the girls and the general confusion that has attended the announcement that the girls won’t be released to their parents.
To this end, the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Jumai Alhassan has held a press conference to address these issues:

The Minister is referring to the 21 girls who’s release was first secured through a collaboration between the ICRC, the Swiss government and the Nigerian government on the 13th of October 2016; as weel as the three who had escaped at different times since 2015.
