Borno state governor Kashim Shettima of the All Progressive (APC) has maintain a steady lead in the 16 local government areas so far declared by INEC.
The remaining 11 local government are still been awaited at the collation centre at the INEC state headquarter in Maiduguri.
Results brought from 16 local governments to the INEC collation centre as at press time show Gov Kashim Shettima leading the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Alh Gambo Lawan.
