One of Africa’s most popular exports in recent years, Senegalese R&B crooner Akon has come a long way from being a jailbird. Released in 2004, his debut album, ‘Trouble’, spawned the massive global hits ‘Lonely’ and ‘Locked Up’. Since then, he has sold millions of albums around the world, founded two record labels (Konvict Musik and Kon Live Distribution) and helped bring artistes such as Colby O’Donis and Lady Gaga to the limelight.

‘Just A Man’ is rumoured to be the second official single from Akon’s fourth studio album, tentatively titled ‘Stadium’. ‘Angel’, the first single from the album was released in September, 2010. While the theme of ‘Stadium’ (or whatever it will be called eventually) is yet unknown, Akon has done well to keep himself alive in the hearts (and ears) of his fans by releasing new studio material every now and then.
