Naeto C is undoubtedly one of Nigeria’s most acclaimed rap artistes. Often associated with the massive hit, ‘Kini Big Deal?” which features fellow rapper Ikechukwu, Super C (as he is also known) has collaborated with some of the biggest artistes on the Nigerian music scene. His latest album, ‘Super C Season’, was officially released on the 7th of February.

’10/10′ is a viral hit which has grown to become a feel-good anthem of some sort. With groovy instrumentals and an addictive hook, the TY Mix-produced song has received massive airplay nationwide. Shooting an accompanying video was thus only natural.

The ’10/10′ music video was shot on location at the Powerbase, Surulere, Lagos on Saturday, January 15, 2011 (see exclusive photos from the event here). The timing of the carnival-themed video’s debut is evidently part of the promotional strategy to drive sales of ‘Super C Season’.

Directed by avant-garde cinematographer Bobby Boulders (videos of General Pype’s ‘Champion (The Remix)’ and Omawumi’s ‘Chocolata’), the music video features cameos by DJ Neptune and R&B artiste Chuddy K. A six-second clip of Naeto C’s graduation celebration ceremony at Scotland’s University Of Dundee is also thrown in for good measure. He is after all “the only MC with an M.Sc” (in energy economics).
