Twitter NG had a field day with Diezani-Alison Madueke’s alleged money laundering topic, the Minister of Information is the subject of massive backlash from Nigerian entertainers but the man has his own supporters team plus all your favourite celebrities that messed up last week, here are our winners and losers.
LOSERS
Sean Spicer
Scaramucci in, Spicer out! The White House Press Secretary finally quit after an intense six months of being the subject of national ridicule and a television impersonation that repeatedly mocked him.
President Trump had just appointed an entrepreneur and Wall Street financier who up until recently was against everything Trump was for as new Communications Director. Spicer considered the president’s choice “a great mistake” so he walked out. But there’s no bad blood! Trump described him as “a wonderful man” who was “tremendously abused” by the media and trust that the internet was unrelenting in that abuse even after Spicer’s resignation.
Where in Washington is there a home for an ex-White House press secretary who set new records for dishonesty?
Oh, everywhere.

Lai Mohammed
The Information Minister is not new on national lists of liars, losers and whatnots. Some have even claimed Lai Mohammed can dethrone the devil himself with his lies.
Days after he publicly stated that the Federal Government was working on a ban that would prevent Nigerian musicians and filmmakers from filming local content abroad, the minister of misinformation returned with a twist to the story.
“All I said was that if a programme is designated as a Nigerian content programme, we will amend the code to ensure that it is produced in Nigeria. I didn’t say I’ll ban the production of Nigerian movies and videos overseas.”
We hear you, Lai! It’s what you do.
Diezani Alison-Madueke
Here is not the place to chronicle the details of this former minister’s atrocities but last week, a new set of revelations point to one fact: Diezani Alison-Madueke will not walk free from any of these. She’s down with that idea too, anyway. She has declared her readiness to go to prison but not without her two accomplices, Kola Aluko and Jide Omokore.
The EFCC discovered Dubai mansions located in some of the most expensive neighbourhoods belonging to Diezani and the US Department of Justice has indicted for allegedly receiving a bribe worth $1.5 billion for oil contracts. US prosecutors have reportedly seized SOME of her assets including a 200-foot yacht and a Manhattan condo worth $144million.
All these revelations led a number of Twitter users to wonder why a woman from a privileged background would steal so much. It’s totally perplexing.
R.Kelly, Usher, Justin Beiber, Kevin Hart
All your MCMs have turned out to be a bunch of disappointment.
R.Kelly was accused of keeping young women against their will in “an abusive cult”, Kevin Hart was caught allegedly cheating on his pregnant wife, Usher paid a woman some massive shush money after he infected with incurable Herpes and Justin Bieber was banned from performing in Beijing for “his series of misbehaviors while living abroad and during his performances in China that has caused public resentment”.
Whatever happened to being role models?!
WINNERS
Roger Federer
The record-breaking tennis star deserves this place on our list.
Last Sunday, he won his eighth Wimbledon title beating Marin Cilic 6-3,6-1,6-4 making him earn the most men’s titles in history.
Federer said, “I always believed that I could maybe come back and do it again. And if you believe, you can go really, really far in your life, and I did that”. Notes taken sir!
Anthony Scaramucci
The new White House communications director is pretty much another Trump toy but he’s on our winners list simply because he just earned himself a top position in government and has already set himself up for a good measure of ridicule.
Full transparency: I'm deleting old tweets. Past views evolved & shouldn't be a distraction. I serve @POTUS agenda & that's all that matters

Ask Spicer, he’ll tell you what matters.
