Nigeria’s first lady, Patience Jonathan who has been on the campaign trail for her husband, Goodluck Jonathan, has urged supporters to stone anyone chanting ‘change’ – a term which is the slogan of the opposition party, All Progressive Congress (APC).
She made the decree recently during a political rally in Calabar, which had the likes of Onyeka Onwenu and Kema Chikwe, in attendance.
This statement may put supporters of APC in danger, especially in view of the recent attack on APC supporters in her hometown of Okrika, in Rivers state.
