US President Donald Trump will speak with Russian president Vladimir Putin by telephone on Tuesday, the White House said in a statement.
Details of the discussion which is scheduled for 12:30 pm (1630 GMT) has not been disclosed.
Both men have spoken by telephone twice since Trump took office on January 20.
On January 28, they discussed on how to defeat the Islamic State group in a congratulatory call from Putin, according to officials.
Trump put a call through to Putin on April 3, pledging his support to Russia over a deadly bomb attack in the Saint Petersburg metro that killed 15 people.
