Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore has been released from police custody, the online publication has said.
The newspaper shared a picture of him after his release on its Twitter account.
Sowore was arrested late Wednesday following a complaint of character defamation against him filed by one Lekan Fatodu.
He was later transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba.
