What a good way to end the Sunday night!
If you are presently following the incredible tweets from the Peoples’ Democratic party’s twitter handle, then you must be stunned as we are. Who wouldn’t.
The political party has taken full responsibility for the “challenges and pains” Nigerians experienced during its’ years as reigning party.
Under president Obasanjo’s 8 years tenure, there were challenges & gains. We take full responsibility.

Under president Yaradua’s tenure, militancy & other challenges were conquered. We take responsibility for everything that went wrong.
— PDP Nigeria (@PdpNigeria) May 17, 2015
That is not all.
The party also announced that it is now welcome to criticism and will always listen to what Nigerians say or recommend. For real?
We want to run a new PDP that welcomes criticism & see it as a necessity to make amends.

We have tried our best as a political party but must be quick to point out that we were not perfect. We never claimed to be.

We are ready to listen to you &hear what you think. We require genuine & sincere advice from you because a one party system not an option.

While some tweeps were fair enough to wish the party well.
