The three member panel of the Rivers State Election Petition Tribunal, is presently in session, to deliver judgment on the governorship petition.
The All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Dakuku Peterside had challenged the electoral victory of Governor Nyesom Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party.
According to the presiding judge, over the course of the case, Dakuku Peterside and APC called 56 witnesses, Nyesom Wike called 24 witnesses while the Independent National Electoral Commission called 16.
Final judgment is expected to be given imminently.
