Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau on Sunday told US President-elect, Donald Trump that “the war has just begun” against the West.
Shekau in an audio message said the sect will continue its fight and hold on to its faith.
“Do not be overwhelmed by people like Donald Trump and the global coalition fighting our brethren in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and everywhere.
“We remain steadfast on our faith and we will not stop,” he said in the hour-long message. “To us, the war has just begun.”
The terrorist group had recently increased its attacks in the North east, killing soldiers.
