The Supreme Court on Friday upheld the election of Ben Ayade as governor of Cross River State.

Another aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party, Joe Agi had approached the court asking it to sack Ayade over false declaration of age.

The panel however ruled in favour of Ayade,stating that both Agi and the PDP could not proof the allegation.
