An aide of Ayo Fayose and former chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Ekiti State, Mr. Omolafe Aderiye was shot dead on the evening of Thursday, 25 September.
Aderiye was reportedly attacked by four unknown gunmen at the Ijigbo area of Ado-Ekiti the state capital, and shot at close range.
He was reportedly on his way home after a meeting with the governor elect, Ayo Fayose.
The deceased is also believed to have been present at the Ekiti state high court earlier in the day, where a Judge was attacked and beaten up by Fayose’s supporters.
Is not a suprise for things like this to happen, when a garage boy is elected as a governor what do you expect, how can governor elect moblise area boys to go and beat up a judge, the man is already showing Ado Ekiti people how he is going to rule, area boy style killing, meming, the foundation of violent is already layed. The electorates are to be blamed for electing area boy as a governor, what a shame. Emmm I de laugh.
