by Staff Writer

According to The Punch newspaper, the video recordings that oil business man Femi Otedola recorded of House of Representatives member Farouk Lawan allegedly soliciting and collecting a bribe of $620,000 may soon air on national television. The recordings are thought to number six video tapes in total and 16 audio recordings.

First, The PUNCH learnt early yesterday that the bribery video might be aired on national television anytime soon. Our correspondents gathered that six video tapes and 16 audio tapes were likely to be made available to major television networks in the coming days. However, our correspondents could not confirm if the tapes were to be released by the State Security Service or one of the parties to the dispute.

This development comes at the point where an audio recording, said to be of  Lawan and Otedola was released by Channels TV on Monday.
