No, silly, GEJ (Goodluck Ebele Jonathan) is not coming back as president in 2019. But he’s back on Twitter NG today and has been for the entire duration of this administration, even if they scarcely admit to it.
Twitter NG has been attacking the federal government, APC overlords and everyone else who had condemned the YOUWIN policy started by GEJ. You can call this a rerun of the I told you so’s.
The floodgates opened after this tweet went out:
As promised, we are continuing with #YouWin. Ministry of Finance has now unveiled the restructured #YouWIN—to be known as #YouWINConnect https://t.co/o5sjHdmHJK
— Government of Nigeria (@AsoRock) March 6, 2017
The PDP faction immediately remembered that the APC had categorically called YOUWIN ‘a scam’, ‘a waste of funds’ etc, etc.
Do see below:
Per last tweet, if you intend to apply for #YouWIN, then you must join "fellow yoots" on hunger strike on Friday. Sebi Youth na 40 now abi?
— 'Gbénga Sèsan (@gbengasesan) November 9, 2011
Apologise, perhaps?
I could remember I watched @ProfOsinbajo during campaign period openly condemning YOUWIN. He should be a gentle man & apologise to GEJ
— OD_SIT (@I_amOD_SIT) March 7, 2017
YOUWIN not a scam
Here's a researched review of YOUWIN with facts, data https://t.co/RnGUxgEz7y
But we like daft lying politicians to tell us a policy is bad https://t.co/qmL7XHQ6QP
— King Alfred (@KingDouyeAlfred) March 7, 2017
I consulted for a YOUWIN winner..I saw all the data & processes..He didn't know anyone…Got grant, expanded business and employed people https://t.co/qmL7XHQ6QP
— King Alfred (@KingDouyeAlfred) March 7, 2017
I think this #YouWin program is about incubating youth businesses for success. I love the idea.
— Amara Nwankpa (@Nwankpa_A) October 11, 2011
GEJ's YouWin will stand as an eternal monument to the shame of nepotism – children of nobodies won huge sums to start businesses.
— Demola Olarewaju (@DemolaRewaju) March 24, 2016
This Govt's idea to continue YouWin in another way will be bogged down by nepotism. This isn't a curse – it's how APC operates as a party.
— Demola Olarewaju (@DemolaRewaju) March 24, 2016
The beneficiaries
A classmate of mine benefitted from YouWin in Ife, he got N3m for his tutorial center. YouWin was a great idea, but we criticized it 🙁
— King Sola (@Solar_unique) March 7, 2017
A lot of people benefitted without knowing anyone, I know a lot that simply applied and they are business owners and Employers today https://t.co/maGvbkjYRI
— Ayobami (@dondekojo) March 7, 2017
There were even friends of the past govt who applied and still didn't get it. It was strictly Merit Based
— Igwe (@Thesasquatch_) March 7, 2017
a whole lot of children of nobody applied and won and in the process trampled on poverty permanently.God bless GEJ
— A.Eusebio (@Eusebuiskay) March 7, 2017
the 1st daughter of a man I knew and lived with in Jigawa state won YouWin and employed her entire household
— A.Eusebio (@Eusebuiskay) March 7, 2017
D lady in question applied and won when NOI asked for only female applications.posterity wil forever be kind to her
— A.Eusebio (@Eusebuiskay) March 7, 2017
@NOIweala must be really proud of YOUWIN
Thank you ma'am
God bless you!
— Omadi (@iamtenseven) March 7, 2017
My former colleague introduced two friends to Youwin. They registered and got the funds. They had no connects. Knew no one.
— Poximus Prime (@tonypox) March 7, 2017
Bro…about 2 years ago…my guy's girlfriend came to ask me to help with a biz plan to be submitted to YouWin. @Nwankpa_A
— C. I. (@Ser_Lannister) March 7, 2017
Did what i could and she submitted. Didnt know anyone at YouWin so couldnt influence it. She was a contract staff with Zenith @Nwankpa_A
— C. I. (@Ser_Lannister) March 7, 2017
Tbh, i really didnt give her much of a chance as i felt it was the normal Naija scheme where you had to know someone to win. @Nwankpa_A
— C. I. (@Ser_Lannister) March 7, 2017
Today, she is a budding entrepreneur amd has hired someone i recommeded to her. Business is growing. @Nwankpa_A

APC, the actual scam?
APC's Idea out of Power was to Criticise everything GEJ/PDP.
APC's Idea in Power is to repackage everything GEJ/PDP did.APC is a Scam.
— Demola Olarewaju (@DemolaRewaju) March 7, 2017
Depending on the ACN/CPC permutations, by next year 2018, APC will set up a C'ttee to review the National Confab Report of GEJ's Govt.
— Demola Olarewaju (@DemolaRewaju) March 7, 2017
TSA – GEJ.
Trains – GEJ.
Cassava Bread – GEJ.
YouWin – GEJ.APC's only original idea since 2015 has been to produce pencils by 2018.
— Demola Olarewaju (@DemolaRewaju) March 7, 2017
APC: a group of people who lacked ideas but criticised great ideas to appear smart only to get into power and implement old ideas.
Change?
— Demola Olarewaju (@DemolaRewaju) March 7, 2017
Hypocrisy is an unofficial ideology of the APC.
If people like this criticise you, intensify your efforts – you're on the right track.
— Demola Olarewaju (@DemolaRewaju) March 7, 2017
There's APC Kind of Leadership too: Criticise Ideas, Steal Ideas, Borrow same Ideas, Pass off as your own…
…Mess it up with Nepotism. https://t.co/ulDhnp243I

This thing called continuum
Is there any other mumu out there doubting that Buhari's fraudulent APC Govt is shamelessly continuing with GEJ's Transformation Agenda? ??? https://t.co/3FGQeUAnqV
— Mr Stanley Nwabia (@MrStanleyNwabia) March 6, 2017
From the stable of the Producers of the 2015 Horror Season Series called #Change comes another epic flop titled:
Govt is a Continuum.
— Demola Olarewaju (@DemolaRewaju) March 7, 2017
"If #Change becomes Impossible due to lack of Ideas, shift into Reverse Gear and scream 'Govt is a Continuum'". – APC playbook 2017. https://t.co/yyjHIiYIfD
— Demola Olarewaju (@DemolaRewaju) March 7, 2017
Lol…
Continuum after an initial 2yrs of vacuum… https://t.co/eItrgDtIdv
— afrispheric (@afrispheric) March 7, 2017
They called YOUWIN free money…
Yet they turn around to raise FREE money from citizens…
This life is a stage, biko
— God Bless our Dead (@2dmaxo) March 7, 2017
So they have relaunched Youwin and Cassava bread? APC is just a well packaged fraud but sadly, gullible Nigerians played themselves ?
— Simeon (@simmeonii) March 7, 2017

Kill and make alive
Having implemented polcieis to kill businesses established by past YouWIN winners,@AsoRock/@MBuhari wants to take it to the "next level" pic.twitter.com/defhXI7eTB
— Igala_King (@i_am_Anomeli) March 7, 2017
I promise…
If an APC government can come out with an idea as good as YouWin, me and my village will trek to London to greet Buhari
— The Village Head (@TheVillageHead) March 7, 2017
The reason for the relaunch?
NPower job initiative of the Federal Government is threatened by unpaid allowance to the beneficiarieshttps://t.co/r1IJfWFR6A
— The Guardian Nigeria (@GuardianNigeria) March 7, 2017
Little wonder they are falling all over YOUWIN. https://t.co/aT498uZOYq
— Emeks (@PeeExcellence) March 7, 2017
And the winner is?
GEJ's Youwin is indisputably a winner.
— DIKE (@Blance_Ned) March 7, 2017
Appropriation?
Everyone returning to GEJ's policies
Latest is subsidy
Either they were wrong & GEJ was right,or theyre so bad that theyre copying failure
— King Alfred (@KingDouyeAlfred) May 11, 2016
We can now add Ogidigben Gas City, cassava bread and YOUWIN to the list
Trying to emulate the man they called a failure – & failing at it https://t.co/hhBi3tY7UG
— King Alfred (@KingDouyeAlfred) March 7, 2017
The second coming?
Cassava bread is coming back. Youwin is coming back. . . MY PIPO MY PIPO, are y'all thinking what I'm thinking ??
