Republican candidate for the U.S. presidential election, Donald Trump hinted he may not accept the result of the election if he loses.

In the third and final debate Trump was asked by debate moderator Chris Wallace if he would concede if he loses the election, to which he replied, “What I am saying is I’ll tell you at it at the time. I will keep you in suspense”, to which Hillary Clinton responds, “That’s horrifying”.

The thoughts on the hearts of many Americans especially the undecided voters will be, why vote for Trump if he cannot state categorically if he would concede defeat if he loses.

Mr Trump’s statement may also cast doubt on the peaceful transition of power from President Barack Obama to his successor.
