Sitting down at the premiere of Banana Island Ghost and seeing model and actress, Makida Moka light up the room with her smile and charm, it was almost difficult not to think through to just how much her brand has broken forth in 2017.

Before this, there was this and that, and mostly modeling. And some dipped toes in television with Gidi Up.

But this year she has really blossomed – not just Banana Island Ghost, she was also in the RED TV series, Inspector K, and joined Fuze TV as an on-air personality across the country and outside.

Then there is her personal website MakidaMoka.com launched this month, which kind of rounds everything up in a neat bow and makes it clear she is determined to take this year by the horns.
