The Senate on Tuesday mandated the Comptroller-general of the Nigerian Customs Service Hameed Ali to appear before it unfailingly on Wednesday by 10:30am.
The decision of the Senate followed a letter sent by Ali saying he would not be able to honour the invitation because of a prior meeting he had.
But the senate said Ali’s excuse was unacceptable accusing him of testing the integrity of the upper legislative chamber.
